In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Springfield Clinic, in partnership with O'Shea Healthcare Builders, hosted an even entitled "Pink Steel: Building Strength from Within." This event recognized all those affected by breast cancer. The above promotional video presented three survivor stories, featuring Springfield Clinic employees who have survived breast cancer.
The U.S. Coast Guard gave Illinois Constructors Corporation only 112 hours to remove and then repair the shaft of a 60,000 pound wheel used to raise a nearly 100 year-old lift-bridge. The Elburn based company, with the help of a Chicago fabrication shop, worked around the clock to complete the work on schedule. This video depicts their story.
I had the pleasure of working with Deborah for several months while she stepped in during a high volume period. Deborah jumped up with limited ramp-in and quickly began to make a difference.
