Senior association executive joins practice sector
Chicago— Golden Square, a national marketing and management agency located in Chicago, is proud to announce Jeffrey A. Kramer, FACHE, CAE has joined the firm as a Senior Project Leader and Account Executive. Kramer will be instrumental in the agency’s practice area inboard training, association management, and marketing services.
As a highly skilled individual and problem solver with extensive experience in both the healthcare and association management fields, Kramer will be valuable to assisting organizations in training; advancing their mission and goals; assessing and supporting program development; and strengthening operational effectiveness. He has held positions that enabled him to become involved with nearly all aspects of the operation and issues in healthcare and association management.

Kramer is a retired Navy Medical Service Corps officer (Commander (Ret)). He held several positions in teaching hospitals including COO of the Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton, CA; hospital inspector as a member of the Navy Medical Inspector General’s (IG) team; various positions in the management of medical education and training programs; and medical/dental insurance programs at CHAMPUS (now TRICARE). He also served onboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, is a graduate of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College and subsequently served with the 2nd Marine Division. These experiences provide him with significant experience in strategic and long-range planning.
His association management experience includes: Director of Certification, American Osteopathic Association (AOA); Director, Academic Affairs/Education Programs, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS); and Executive Director, New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (NJAOPS).
He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a Certified Association Executive (CAE). He is a proven, experienced leader whose accomplishments include educational program development; leadership training; meeting planning; strategic planning; data management and dashboards; advocacy; contracting and purchasing; and program evaluation. Kramer has served as project manager on numerous initiatives.
He holds a master’s in healthcare administration from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, a bachelor’s degree in geography from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a current member of ACHE, American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Association Forum of Chicagoland.
